Any particular screws to use for mounting rocker trim??

I'm getting read to mount S rocker trim to my '69E and I have heard on occasion that there is a particualar type of screw to be used for fastening the trim to the car. Seeing as there is drilling involved, I want to get it right the first time!

Anybody know the exact spec on what screws to use? TIA!

Hey Rob,

Try Stoddard. They probably have put together a hardware kit for this, otherwise I would use stainless hardware. Pan head philips screws should do it.

I used what Don said. Small stainless panhead phillips sheetmetal screws from my local hardware store. Pretty much a dead match to what was on there (except for the stainless part). I don't have exact dimensions right now - my car's in storage.

One of the more reasonable P-car expenditures... about $1.80.

lens-hd. sheet metal screw, B3.9 x 13, 14 off for E/S
