Does anyone have a definitive answer as to the difference between "SC" flares & "RS" flares? Thanks.

Different shape to the 'lip' part. It's the kind of thing that's very obvious when you have an example of each right next to each other. (The RS is a little taller, I think, and more rounded.)

Hey Joe,
A pic is worth a thousand words... and I trust someone will post a pic for ya...
But the short of it is:
A Carrera flare has a vertical return (contour/lip/flange) that starts at the two sides of the wheel arch at about 15mm or 5/8" wide and as it climbs to the 10 and 2 o'clock position the return widens and flattens to about 30mm or 1 1/8" wide all across the top...
A SC flare starts it's return the same but instead of widening and flattening at the top it stays consistent at about 15mm wide all around the arch...
The fender profile and wheel clearance are the same ... only the return is unique.
Hope this helps

And sometimes they get completely out of control:
(I'll concede that Tom's looks better. The unflared look is the purest expression of the original 911 design, in my opinion.)
