    early 911 carpets

    Hi guys,
    got a question for you! Who do you think manufatures the best reproduction carpet for the early 911 (64-73) in terms of quality and fitting in the US? Your oppinion on that one is very much appreciatet!

    Stefan,

    I just installed a set from Autos International. They manufacture their own carpet. I am very happy with the carpet itself and it fit very well. Only a few small areas I had to trim, othewise matched the stock set perfect.

    I bought the best they had which I believe is the 'German velour'. It is the one which is just like the original.

    Unfortunately I can't help you with how it compares with others as I am not familiar with.

    I heard that there is a company in Germany doing very good kits using the OEM fabrics. I can't remember the name but do a search on the Pelican Parts bulletin board. They also list them on EBAY.

    Exactly, you're already where the source is. Even with the exchange rate, I don't see how you can save money by buying in the USA. Especially something that might have come from Germany to start with.
