Bill what year is this for? Is it correct for a 66? I have taken notice of wysiwig but is there something wrong w/ it since I have not looked close to my rusty one so far and can't tell myself.

Don't know what year. I picked it up a couple of years ago for a 67 but rebuilt my old one while waiting for delivery of this one. I think they all can be made to work without any big problems. The wisdom of this board will probably chip in.

The primary difference is up through 67 there is no provision for a mechanical brake light switch, since a pressure switch (ala 356) was used at the brake line fitting to the master cylinder. Starting in 68 with the introduction of the dual circuit master cylinder the brake switch became a mechanical switch on the pedal cluster.

Ed how those that provision look like? Is that provision on this one?

Here is the difference...early left...late right....the switch mount is at the end of the stick in pic #2
I'll take it if the base is not pitted with rust
