Sunroof: Differences between SWB and later cars?

Would anybody know if the swb sunroof (my car is a mid '67, and I got a sunroof with the water drains already in the trunk area) is the same as the later lwb one, from the early or mid 70's? Would the parts interchange?

I am asking because I am missing air deflectors, cables, motor, transmission, etc., and knowing if later cars have the same parts would help a lot.

    Thanks,
    Victor

It's not so simple. Some parts change in '68, some in '69. I suggest getting a copy of PET and querying it for the specific parts you are looking for.

    SV:

Thanks for your post. For an illiterate, like myself, what is a PET?

I have only a few of the original parts on my sunroof, and there is somebody in the forum selling a bunch of parts from a '72 model, so that is why I want to find out if they would be the same as in a '67. It would be really usefull to find out.

    Thanks,
    Victor

The '72 parts should interchange 100%. There was a motor/driveshaft change in '74, and the deflector changed several years later.

Would anybody have a sunroof schematic, or point me to one, where I could see the parts I need to find for my car?

    Thanks,
    Victor

For a SWB you can find that in section 9 (I believe) of the parts manual.
