Doing a little housekeeping and we found ourselves with extra lenses, lamps , and bases. These are made by Hella, as the originals were on the R.
The amber and clear lenses are $25 each, the single bulb plastic bases are $5 each, and the complete red lens/single bulb units are $35 each

I wish to make it clear on what the single bulb bases mean. There is only tabs to mount one bulb. So an amber /red or amber/clear lens will be entirely illuminated by that one bulb.
There is a solution, though not the most elegant, it is effective in converting these bases to dual bulb. The metal inserts can be removed, a divider plate made from a bit of scrap aluminum or tin, then holes drilled in the bases so a usually available 194 base bulb socket can be glued into place. The advantage of the 194 series is a wide variety of colors, wattage, LED versions and certainly less $ than the german "tube" bulbs.

So as of today (12/18/10) I have 8 more red lamps new in box, TWO more amber/clear lenses (new), and about 20 single bulb bases.
