    when did they start putting the reverse porshe ?

    when did they start putting the reverse porsche sticker on the lower part door?

    was that an option...was it a dealer thing?

    Yup and the carera....I know the carera was 73...yup that's the one...

    They used them on the 911R I believe, and the 908 on the tail, so I would say 1967.

    It was an factory installed option, beginning in 67 I believe.

    Nothing to stop a dealer or individual putting them on though, which has been very common lately with the resurgence in the older cars.

    Yes............ they were an option on all cars that year in black (option 439) or white (option 438) lettering
