Size: 78.0 KB As we started to take the car apart, it became more and more obvious that the mice had done a real number it...rust was everywhere and that essentially every surface had suffered from the uric acid attack and 15 years of ambient humidity in the unheated garage. Note the car has the rare "elephant hide" door and dash panels. Along with the embossed vinyl being very badly stained and corroded, the door storage bins were in very bad shape. It was very important to save these and as you will see in later pictures, Jim Quartermus did just that.

    John,

Great job on the restore. Looking good.

Can I convince you to keep all the posts for your restore in one thread? It's easier on those of us using the restore threads for research to have them all in one location.

Yes, just keep replying to your own thread and they will all stay in one place.
You'll be more likely to get feedback/kudos/questions answered if people can go to one place.

Von, thanks for the guidance....will send some more in next day or so. We are now about a month away from completion as the interior is being installed now. Bill Boys will start the engine and trans assembly next week...
