I'm new to the forum, but a friend of the founder. I'm going to take a look at this car today. Does it look like a good value for a "buy it now" price of $38K?

I appreciate the advice.

A word to the wise.
This seller appears to be Steven Dicks.
Be very, very careful when buying from this vendor.
People have been greatly disappointed by him in the past.
Pay for a reputable PPI and go over what you have thoroughly before committing to buy.

I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Tangerine E's, this one looks nice in the photos and the price is not unreasonable for a very good driver. It is a 70 not a 71 but that is not a value factor. If it looks good in person, drives well, and passes a PPI and it is what you want in a early car, buy it and enjoy.

The car looks nice from the pictures. I have no experience with the seller.
To answer your question directly about a Buy It Now price and being worth it. Yes it is worth 38k if everything checks out. I'm having a hard time reading the entire ad due to all the 'glare' from the bold text that seems to be coming out of the barrel of gun in ever increasing sizes. He's not making it easy.
Which means I would be hard pressed to 'BIN' any early Porsche on eBay without first getting a PPI. Maybe you could get agreement from the seller that if you BIN the car, actual purchase is predicated on successful PPI.
Good luck
Worth or Market ?Worth $38K Ya Think?
Worth = To some yes to others no
Market = Not IMO (ask me how I know)

I found out the guy is a dealer that flips cars, not an early 911 enthusiast. He's only owned it a week. You know he must have acquired it cheap. With the paint semi-fresh and a new headliner, it kinda makes me wonder whats under the skin. It might be perfect who knows, but I'll stick to my bare metal restoration project.
Thanks for the help everybody.
From the photo angle, the wheels look like 14" not 15s. ..Hope he put on the right size tires or they'll fall off
