When you say 'nudge bar', is it like this? Just curious - and amazed at the value of the parts on a 911.

Brian--No---Mine is the one that consists of one bar that mounts to the upper mounting holes for the rubber pad on the overriders. The rear pads are replaced by the smaller ones from the front overrider which mounts to the lower hole. Gasketing for the nudge bar to overrider is via a 356 overrider rubber gasket. All pretty well thought out in that regard.

The yellow one was mine. I would say that the modification of the stock bumperettes is not easy, but very doable. There are not enough holes for it to be a "bolt-on" application, so you have to carefully drill at least one hole per bumper. Also the nudge bar has a larger bolt that the factory holes, but I don't know if I enlarged an existing hole, or if I had to create another. I did use the rubber trim from a front bumperette, but it really doesn't fit as cleanly on the bottom as I would have hoped. I believe this is because the contour of the fronts do not have as sharp of a bend as the rears. I seem to remember finding a separate part number for the bumperettes that match the nudge bar, so there may be a different set of pads that fit the contour better. One other installation note. The assembly has to be made up as 1 before it can be mounted. Your measurements need to be really precise for the nudge bar holes ( or you can slot the holes and fit-remove-adjust, fit-remove-adjust...). I took a chance without slotting it, and got it with a tight squeeze. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I actually use it more for pulling (out of the garage) than "nudging". GLWS
