    Driving Light Switch For 1969

Will someone please tell me what is the correct driving light swith for 1969 911 S, US delivery? I have been told that the center of the knob has only a small green light (painted tip on the clear plastic rod) and others have stated, as well as the parts manual, that there should be a green disc, with fog light icon, in place of the red disc used on similar use knobs. Also, should the knob have a rubber cover on the knob or not?

    Thanks in advance.

This is the correct knob for a '69 911 driving light switch... and I'm pretty sure this is the correct location for it as well:

My 69S had no rubber on any of the the knobs, plain black plastic with the small lighted tip in the center. Fogs up top next to defrost, driving below as shown right of steering column.

Euro... Your information would be correct Jordan for a US delivery car. Sorry Tom

See this link for a discussion.

With one set of lights, the proper location for the switch is above the radio. The correct symbol depends on what the lights were. Fogs have a light shining on a line (seen above), pure driving lights (non fogs) have the light symbol without the line
