    Another 65 on Ebay

I looked and didn't see any posts regarding this ebay ad.

Looks like a pretty darn nice car.

Beautiful, beautiful, 1965 Porsche 911! I checked my 1965 Porsches and none of them have the decals in the indentations on the rear lid latch panel. It’s very minor, but just a little research could have saved on this detail. This appears to be a wonderful car and I think it’s a real value at the BIN price.

Used to haul the kids to the pool in 356/1500RS Carrera Speedster 80820. Wife would leave it in the shopping center parking lot -- now in the Porsche Factory Museum.

Really? I knew these cars were popular, but I had no idea $125k was considered a real value.....

Interesting...my #278 was Bali blue and so was #279. Wonder if they planned production so they could spray several cars in a row the same color so they wouldn't have to clean their spray guns after each car.

Davewadd...here's a recent sale to give you an idea where the market is right now for these early number cars: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123

That's exactly what they did... In fact, I have seen a scan of something from the factory outlining the schedule for some of the early years. If I find it, I'll post it.

Painting several cars in succession was common practice. It started way back in the early 356 era. SS
