    . . . from the Road Scholars schtick . . .

    . . . VIN# 9112102287
This 1972 911T comes to us with only 62,000 miles with only 4 owners from new. The “T” has spent its entire life in Santa Barbara California, being purchased from Lavia Porsche Audi in October of 1972. The original owner only had it for 2 years before passing it on to the next owner for 23 years. The 3rd owner purchased it in 2007 and started the long process of bringing her back to original “show room condition.” Repainted and new seals installed, he then focused on the servicing the drive train. Cleaning out the fuel tank and entire fuel system. He also replaced the hoses and gaskets as needed. The real Hero of the story is the 4th owner Bob Heinz. Bob meticulously went through the mechanicals over a period of 5 years until we acquired it. This may be one of the best driving long hood 911′s we have ever had! The paint is fantastic and dead straight. The interior is almost all original except for the headliner which was replaced in 1997. The engine and transmission are near perfect and need nothing. The wheels are great and new tires make her a joy to drive . . .

I'm very interested to know what your opinions are about a price for something like this. What would you guys expect this to sell for?

I guesstimate they are asking right under 100. They have had a couple nice T's pass through, one of which sold for 80 to 90. The other one was an off the chart example that was way way up there.

No affiliation, but call Kevin and ask him.
