the H1 lights , the glass sticks out not like the american lights that are sunken in. They have two lights in each. one for driving and one for high beam . There are 4 screws on the outer ring. two screws for each lights.

    hope that helps Namon

Thank you for a very useful information. So I think I will have to look for a H1 headlight.

Attached Pictures is the fender that I am going to put on my car. Is the housing/carrier (don't really know what to call) perfectly correct/fit with the H1 headlight?

No, that part is only for the sealed beam / sugar scoop lights and is removed when you mount H1's (four cheese head screws attach it to the bucket). The H1's mount to the lip of the large opening at the top and the screw flange at the bottom. Make sure the screw flange is in good shape, yours looks a little bent.
