    H1 vs. H4 - Calling Light Police

My memory has dimmed (sorry) during my hiatus from the P-car scene. I'm starting to go through my headlights and I'm trying to identify what I have. I've done some research and found a lot of conflicting information. Some have said that H1's have one bulb and H4's have two bulbs. Some have sold what they called H1's that had two bulbs. Some have said that H1's have four adjusting screws with an instruction label inside. Etc. Some of said the older ones had lenses with clear tops and the later ones with lenses with frosted tops. Etc. ???

Here's the pair that I'm trying to identify right now:

    Name: headlight-back1.JPG
Views: 470
Size: 160.5 KB

    Name: headlight-back2.JPG
Views: 496
Size: 140.2 KB

    Appreciate the help!

Those are H1's. H4's just have a normal 3 prong connection on the bulb.

Are the earlier or later H1's or H4's the ones with the frosted on top lenses?
