    Headlight aiming

I need to adjust the H1s, any advice on a way to accomplish this would be much appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

Level ground. Aim at white wall 15 feet from you bumper...have some masking tape handy to mark at the wall ..and a dark blanket to cover one of the lights..aim driver side first...then passenger..

    Best of luck

neat and timely info for me too.
do we assume distance "a" is the same distance between headlight centers on the car?
and wouldn't it be offset to the right?

That looks like info for an H4 single reflector. Your H1 has 2 reflectors so it has 4 screws not 2. Each reflector must be adjusted individually. That would be in a 72 or earlier Owners Manual.

This is from my old Rabbit/Scirocco Bentley manual. I believe this is US spec. for headlight aim.
