    John:

I deal in old and rare Porsche books (as Toad Hall Motorbooks), and I normally sell such books for about $60, depending on condition. Not many takers, even at that price, so maybe I'm high...

I'm not a dealer and don't know what this NOS book is worth, but $60 surprises me. Here's a dealer who thinks it's worth $389 with substantial wear on the cover (see pictures in ad): http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-EXCE...item5640d766c8

Actually, probably not. Prices are all over the map, as many things "Porsche", are. This book was about $50 brand-new, back in the day. $50 for a used copy now seems about right. They don't come up all that often. Somebody wanting NOS will have pay a premium. Several Benjamins is not too much for the person who wants to go there.

As a current price point only: I just picked up a very nice copy via abebooks for $50 plus shipping. I mean *very* nice. Not new, but hardly ever opened.

In light of LongRanger's post below: The copy I picked up was First Edition, Third Printing. NOT autographed.
