    Looking for info on a 911 E, , 1970, burgundy red, vin 9110201123

    Hello,
I'm looking for more historical information about a 911E, 1970, Color Burgundy red, vin number 9110201123
The latest American owner lived in Ohio, but beyond that, little is known to me.
If you know anything about the car you are welcome to help fill in my gaps.

    / Nick

Searching the VIN on this site, it sold twice on eBay in '05 and '06.

Thanks for the tips. It was fun to see some earlier images, but now the condition of the car is totally different!
I have noticed that it is not easy to obtain historical information on vehicles from U.S. authorities.
Does anyone know if porsche clubs disclose information if the vehicle has been registered?

Can you share your interest in the car? Owner, prospective buyer, etc?

If owner, how did you come to purchase it? From where? What do you know about the car's history, already.

This sort of info on your part may remind people of the car in its previous life...

For me, knowing where a car has been all its life really adds to the interest I have in it. It helps to place the car within the history of the 20th century in my mind. As well as for personal interest, there are other good reasons to trace as much of your car's history as possible. It is a known fact within the old-car world that a car, with a lengthy and informative history, makes its better, than an identical car that is missing this background information.

I know for sure that the car was delivered to England in the middle of 1970. But I guess the car was not intended for the english market since its LHD.
I do not know who originally owned the car and details of previous owners are only available from the 1990s. What I know is based mostly on information from a previous owner. I have been told that the car was purchased in the early 1990's by a person in Springfield Ohio. He then handed over the car to his son in the early 2000's. But since the son didnt have the time to refurbish the car it was later sold to an acquaintance in Ohio. I guess that it is the same person who then auctioned off the car on e-bay. Eventually the car ended up in Denmark. The car was renovated by porsche and then 2010 re-exported to Sweden. So if there is anyone out there with information about the car or tips on how to obtain more information please get in touch.

Large parts of the car's history is unknown. I know that it was delivered 1970 to the UK. The car is LHD, which is a bit strange. I have no information on the car during its first 20 years. I managed to find one of the previous owners. He lived in Springfield, Ohio. He took over the car by his father in the early 2000's. His father had purchased the car from a private individual in Columbus in the early 90's. And then I come across a dead end
