    73 911t fuel leak

I have a 73 1/2 911t and I have a leak coming from the hose that comes from the fuel pump to the motor. I have replaced the line and it keeps leaking from the connection to the motor. I have tighten the clamp 3 times which fixes it for a couple drives. Any suggestions on some fixes?

Are you using " Norma " clamps on the fuel lines? Tightening the crap out of other style clamps just makes them leak more IMO.

Apart from waht Tony mentioned above, are you using the proper metric line?

Yes. It is the type 3 vw line that matches. As far as the tightening how tight should I make it? Are there any better clamps? Airplane grade?

By connection to the motor, you mean fuel filter correct? This is a K-Jetronic car correct?
As mentioned above pictures would help.

On my 12/73 MY74 car, there is rubber from the fuel pump (rear mounted) to the fuel accumulator, then hard line to filter, then black nylon tubing from the filter to the fuel distributor on the engine. If you have rubber running to the fuel distributor I think this is a problem. That barbed fitting is made for the black nylon tubing.
