I love this car. Definitely looks untouched and original from where I am sitting

Lotsa lotsa small details clue in its original condition:

    Antenna base
    Stickerless black coil
    Door seals
    Bumper plugs
    Engine compartment finishes
Rear decklid looks to be original
Decklid hinges and hardware are original finish
Snug, curved fit of VIN plate and rivets
    etc

    Everything looks to be there.

Left rear bumper is off kilter, could mean a lot of things but looks to have been lightly hit behind wheel well could just be lighting

Could one of the 69S SWT police chime in on this being an original soft window? I know there were only a handful built, maybe someone has tracked which colors were SWTs and accounted for.

Would love to know more about it. If anyone speaks to the seller, please share details in this thread.

A weekend with that engine compartment! I bet it would clean up to a splendid, nicely patinated display case

I am firmly in the camp where this sort of car turns me on rather than one that is fully restored. Originality is something you can only smell once. A fully restored car just doesn't have it. There are fewer and fewer cars coming to the market like this one. Doesn't appeal to everyone but I would buy that car and never touch it.

I just don't get the phrase (which is occurring more and more now), " totally original except for one high quality repaint........ "

It's like an excuse for ' damn nearly totally original, but not quite and I wish it was'.

This car blows all of that out of the water, AND it is pretty darn rare and from a dry climate, so,

Yes, I think it is a fair starting price, hopefully negotiable.

I agree with leave it alone... Price is high end ($188ish) but only by 10K to 15KUSD.

It doesn't actually say who owns this vehicle and who offers should be made too. This is the only thing that would concern me. Definitely would want to fly to Italy to inspect (if that is where it is now) before making any offer but there do not seem to be any contact details.

I wasn't commenting on the asking price, only my interest in the car appearing very original.

Thanks for that. I suspected the way the whole thing is presented it might be a broker and not the owner.
