Oil Line Engine Compartment Routing Holes

    Hi,
We are cleaning up and painting the engine compartment (black like it should be) in our 69S while we have the engine out for a rebuild. I am looking where the oil lines come in and it seems that I have "extra" holes. If you look at the attached picture the lines come in through the top two holes on the left side (where one line still is). I think the holes below them shouldn't be there. Could anyone confirm that they shouldn't before I weld them up?

    Thanks in advance - Scott

Hallo Scott! Never saw so many holes in such a little space!!!
You are right: the wrong ones are the lowest.

This photo shows the correct position of the 2 holes, with the correct rubber seals.
    Ciao

My guess is the bottom two holes were for A/C lines.

The other ones are all required, left to right: oil lines, tank mount, thermostat, oil filter console
