FS: 1970 Hirschmann Antenna and mast mounting bracket

    SOLD

Up for sale is an original Hirschmann antenna mast and bracket from a 1970 900T Coupe, VIN 9110100454. I purchased it to do a radio update for my 911S, but was talked out of it by my restorer. I am sticking to the as delivered with no radio originality.

The mast has zero corrosion. It is stiff, but will extend fully and will retract flush as it should. The performance can be improved by a very careful straightening out of the mast sections. I did a bit and that already helped it retract fully. The original OEM antenna cable is included, as is a correctly re-plated mounting bracket for the antenna. The bracket has the original correct mounting hardware with serrated lock washer. There is no key for the antenna top, but these are still available through Hirschmann.

I looked for 7 months and never saw an antenna in this good shape. Perfect for concourse restoration, or if you want to actually listen to the radio given the lack of corrosion and rust.

The antenna is $110 and the bracket is $60. PLUS shipping. I will sell both together for $160 PLUS shipping. Payment by Paypal.

That is indeed an original antenna. You can tell by the shape and size of the plastic cover...

The later replacements did not have this profile
