Nice video. There is some great info at On The Dash if you are interested in vintage Heuers, including the 50th anniversary happenings on the Carrera.
As an aside, I am wearing a special Carrera as I type. The 3147N 1st Execution, circa 1967:

Thanks for the post. I find that vintage watches, especially the self wound type, go hand in hand with our cars.
I enjoy my Heuer 1416 that I received as a fifth anniversary gift in 1980.
A Heuer Carrera would certainly appeal to me.

Can you tell me about the band?
The strap is handmade by a Heuer enthusiast out of the U.K. Irish saddle leather. Stewart has a write up on his Heuer blog (linked to the right of his page):

Look him up and tell him I sent you.

Thanks Bryce.
Those heuerville bands are great looking. I started following him on Twitter as he recommends, hope some will be available soon.
Here's my re-issue from 2006.

Nice. I like the blue on white. Don't think I've seen a white face version before.
I sold a Tudor a while back and have been shopping for its replacement. Came across the Targa Florio re-issue, looks interesting.
