    Anyone know the 911E '69 #0596?

    Hi all,

I am not sure If this is the right topic to post, but let's give it a try .

In October 2011 I bought a '69 911E coupe, #0596. At the moment it is being fully restored.

I hope to get in contact with previous owners or to get some information on her history.

Some things I know about the car:

    - The oldest invoices go back to 1978, owner was a certain mr. Dole. Repairs done by Auto Sprint Inc. 115 E. Main street, MT Kisco, New York.
    - In 1993 it seemed to belong to a certain mr. Sabnani and the repairs were done by Precision Porsche, 31 Ponquogue Ave, Hampton Bays, New York.
    - In 2000 it was shipped to Florida Daytona Beach
    - Arround 2008 it was sold to Stolze classic cars in the Netherlands where I bought it.

Anyone that knows anything about this lovely car, please send me a PM!

    Thanks so much!

    Great first post. Welcome.

    119200596 or 119220596?

Great start for a thread on your car and your project. What are your plans for it?

    Talking

@Beh911, thanks! It is the 119220596, a Karmann coupe.

    @LongRanger, Indeed I have the 911E listed on 911E.org.

The plan is to do a bare metal restauration, engine/trans are already revised, some minor welding going on right now. Plan is to restore to complete originality.

I have some detailed pics on the restauration on http://www.deklassieke912.nl/forum/s...sche-911E-1969 (sorry it is in Dutch!)

@Maurizio, that's cool, lovely color as well! Is it the 1968 Short Wheel Basis or one of the first Long Wheel Basis cars?

Nice work. Good luck with the restoration. My "E" is No. 119220312. It made its way from Los Angeles to Europe via ..... Stolze.

Hi Michael, that's funny you bought your E from Stolze. Do you have some pictures of the restauration?
