68S vs 69S head and pistons

    Hello

I begin to rebuild my 68S engine. I also have pistons and heads from a 69S.

    I wondered if it's a good upgrade .

45/39 vs 42/38 valve size is usefull? (port size are identical)

69S piston have a little higher dome than 68S . Usefull?

    Thanks
    Christophe

It all depends on what the goal of your build is.

If you are building out a 68S engine for a 68S, my preference would be to keep it original and use all 68 parts.

I have several advice in the same way. I don't rebuild for racing purpose so I'll put 68S on my 901/02
    Thanks
