No one knows for sure as it's all pieced together by enthusiasts.

I estimate ~200 tops are around today, from rusting hulk to concours queen

Jan or Feb 69 production most likely.

Production at factory included T coupe and Targa, E Coupe and Targa and S Coupe and Targa, so hard to pinpoint sequentially where yours fit in. The COA from Porsche will give you some more details, including the production date

Certificate of Authenticity, which is a "translated" version of the Kardex, or birth certificate of your car. It will tell you the basics of your car, including the engine & transmission #s, as well as the options. Some times they get details wrong. It's been a while, but I think they cost around $120.

One source says 614 were produced another says over 700. Either way, they are fairly rare. (shameless plug here: [I'm selling 119310550])
