    Fuel evaporative system up front

I am putting my gas tank back in and reconnecting the tubing for the evaporative system. I believe the IDs of the hose are 1/2 and 5/16. My hose is yellowed and stiff. It has not suffered cracks...but it is 43 years old. Should I re-use or replace? If replace is in order, where do I source it? As only fumes go through the hose, does it need to be a special plastic? And as there is probably little pressure..no need for anything other than low PSI? Anybody have a guess as to how much of the two sizes is need to replace the system up front?

    TIA
