    WTB: Hood badge mounting pins

    Hi,
I have 2 nice orange bars badges that are missing the back mounting pins (T shape) ; someone have extras or know someone who make them before I asked my brother to make me some ?

    Thanks

Just buy a cheap/beaten up old later (red) badge & use the pins from that ...

You are going to have to think very carefully how you are going to reattach those pins if your enamel on the front is nice.

Could you post up if you find a source. Meantime, cannibalising old red badges, like Andy says is a good way of getting genuine pins.

Andy, are the speed nuts commonly available?

An extremely thin film of JBWeld will do it. No one will ever notice

The originals were soldered after enameling and plating. No big deal, I've done one before. Trick is to use a small butane torch to keep the heat concentrated and isolated. Keep the heat focused on the pin and allow generous flux to conduct the heat.
