Looking for an unmolested, original driver quality car. Targa preferred. Am staying clear of the fully restored offerings, as they are out of my pricepoint. Please feel free to pm or email if anyone has a lead on one. Thanks

Might have a lead on a 69 911E. Car is reported to be a matching numbers car, but no COA. Has had a repaint, with paint fading an some bubbling on driver's side door. Has had a suspension pan replaced, and the job appears less than optimal. Also the smuggler's box has rotted away. Here is a pic of the section. Has a 4-pipe sport exhaust , o/w stock engine. Still worth an initial 35,000 investment?

In a word, no. Massive rot underneath with questionable front pan hot work.

Follow the advice of beh911 and save a ton of money and misery. See, the dues for the Early S Registry are a bargain.

The best thing you can do, is what you did right here... Get some feedback on any car which you may be interested from folks here, and often times the VIN will show up too if you search the forum.

In that vein, anyone have any experience with Wholesale California?
