1969S values/thoughts please

Where do you see the 1969S model values sitting currently for an excellent driver quality car
no sunroof, no sports seats, rear wiper option had a good repaint 7 years ago no rust evident (I know it will be there somewhere)

Reminds me of the one line joke over on DDK which made me laugh out loud,

"crystal ball for sale due to unforeseen circumstances"


Who knows where we are heading and one 'unforeseen' event can change the market in an instant.

I remember Tom saying that "that ship has sailed" when you put your lovely RS up for sale at $300k which was beyond the top of the market then. Now, we are $500k+ for the same car seemingly.
Buy to drive and enjoy.

Its a UK delivered RHD 1969S. I did own a very rusty ex Bill Noon 1969S but that has gone last year (I must change my signature)

Funny you brought that up, Tom is never wrong you know and it eventually sold for $300k admittedly 6 months or more later.

A dealership over here is asking $650k for a badly/over restored RHD Carrera on that basis #197 which is still here in Australia would sell for every bit of $500k.

I follow the 69S market pretty carefully.

And I have started numerous 69S FS threads on this forum, mostly eBay cars. You can see that ground up restorations of carcasses with engines are $50k these days, if you can find one.

If you have access to an umarketed example that is all there and in excellent driver condition for under 100k, I would buy it before the market opens up on it. I imagine there are many folks on this board that would pay up to 100 in the current market easily. Being RHD, it's already one of a few, out of an already dwindling pool of available cars worldwide.
