    FS: @eBay - '65 911

Needs lots of love. No affiliation. Very good photo documentation for sale purposes, good marketing.

Here is a very early 911 for your consideration
    VIN 300731

I think this is the 731st 911 produced.
Clearly it needs some love. The up side is that it's not a total rust bucket.
It retains what looks to be the original transmission 901 301 101 02 (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Notice the non-adjustable front shock towers
I have a clear California title in hand.

I will ship this car worldwide.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Here are some photos so that you get a good idea of what the car is.

Looks like it had a front clip. Wrong front nose panel, wrong fenders and horn grills and vin tag moved up front. Not many non-adjustable rollers out there these days....

I agree that the VIN looks a little dodgy, and the VIN tag is in the wrong place. I asked about the trans, and it is from a 1966.
It would take a lot of work to fix that one up.

Chassis stamping looks like it was double struck in places. I'm not saying it looks wrong, but it's not exactly right. Anything's possible from the factory, but it gives one pause don't you think? This on top of the fact that the data plate has been drilled out and moved makes me wonder whether this is the original chassis for that number. By the time a good shop's done with it, it won't matter. -- Matt

My concern with the VIN stamp was the fact that the panel looked absolutely flat while most of the photos I have show the VIN on a rectangular raised area. Some of the photos I have are not too clear, so it may be possible that not all cars have the raised area. Anyone with a 1964 to 1966 car can send me photos of their VIN stamping.
