    Great Story Kris
a few of us here in Australia took our 40 year old cars for a round trip of about 1500 miles from melbourne to sydney via the snowy mountains a couple of weeks ago and i totally relate to your story. I just wish i could write up our trip half as well as you did

    Well done Kris.

Coincidentally, I am heading out in a few minutes on some of those same roads in N GA. We have some great ones for sure!

We need from time to time to be reminded that our cars are for driving

They are tucked safely behind the garage doors waiting....

Very good article. I read the intro to my wife, in the hopes she might change her AC needs.

Oh boy: that whets the appetite for a road trip: now all I need to do is get my 47-year old back together... thanks so much for the wonderful writing and great photos... inspirational on a wet, cold, miserable saturday morning to say the least.

Now to the garage to finish prepping the Leistritz ready for its VHT primer next week: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...eat-exchangers !

Thanks to the Registry for inspiration all round!!!
