Car comes with sport seats but this is not listed on COA. Also, from what I know headrests weren't available in 1967. Can someone please shed some light here?

    VIN 307584
    Engine 961347
    Transmission 104349

Presented here is an incredibly maintained one-owner example, offered for public sale for the first time since it was purchased new by its sole owner. Initially purchase on April 10, 1967 with trade of a 356B S90 Coupe from European Car Sales Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware, attentive ownership and regular maintenance certainly attribute to the outstanding preservation of this Porsche. 307584 remains unspoiled today and beautifully displayed in its correct special order Silver Metallic paintwork over original Black leatherette trimmed Recaro sports seats and alloy wheels.

Fitted with luxurious such as a Webasto Heater, seat belts, Becker Europa TR w/ Hirschmann antenna and very rare original Recaro sport seats (installed at the dealer in 1968) - all glass, lenses, trim, mirror and chrome are original to car. Other original components to the Porsche include body panels, pans, both compartments and the cabin's immaculate original upholstery. The Lights, gauges, wipers, horn, and radio are working as they should minus the clock. Sometime in the 1990's the car received a quality repaint in its original color, otherwise everything has remained original.

The car is offered with its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming its matching numbers and livery, as well as the original bill of sale, owner's manual, service book, toolkit, jack, early registration certificates and early service invoices (1967-1969).

To find a one owner early 911 is such an exceptional find, but a 2.0 liter SWB first-year 911S with original documentation and attractive colors further adds to the appeal - an ideal example to use and enjoy as-is with continued preservation.

Attached headrests not available on '67.

    Those seats are '68 sportseats.

Headrests were available in '67. They are the 356 headrests with the roll style, sliding adjustment with thumbscrews. The seats were made to accept the thumbscrew brackets but hidden by the upholstery. '68 sport seats had headrests standard from the factory. The 356 style could be mounted on the '67 sport seats.

I believe the question from Mr. Spencer was in regard to attached headrests or built-in headrests; not the thumb screw, 356 style.

i missed a detail in the seller's description that says the seats were installed in 68 which explains why the seats in this car have headrests.

my understanding is that you could get headrests on the standard seats in '67 but that the sport seats came w/o headrests.

Yes and the standard seat headrest for '67 IS the 356 type.
