    What is anyone doing for 2.0L S P & C??

So, I want to keep this thing stock, and I have perfect, fresh original cylinder heads, so do not want to go 2.2. Is there good, quality p/c sets available by anyone or do I need to go the custom route? Searches haven't led to much. Thanks, Brian

Hi silverbulit-- Mahle is doing a production run of stock 2.0 S pistons and cylinders right now. They are very expensive around $4000 for the set. Call EBS Racing in Reno NV. they said they will have them. If you want totally stock parts. Chris

    Chris,

What's your source for that info? Not that I don't think it's true, just wondering if there was a Mahle web presence that outlines this program.

I've been researching this topic for a while there is very little data as Brian points out.

    Thanks

It will take some hunting, but I'd look for a good used set...Hone and re-ring...
    Or...http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911S...41ad23&vxp=mtr
Or JE makes them as well...

I talked to EBS racing in Reno and they told me that Mahle was doing a run of stock 2.0 S P & c's. I forgot who I talked to as this was back in May 2013. they even had the price of $4000. Chris

All I can say is Call EBS Racing in Reno NV. their number is 800-462-3774. I am not in the market for these so I do not know if they actually came in or that they already sold out of the production run. Or they could be a Mahle Motorsport product. Chris

Already have 2 sets, most with sloppy top ring lands. May look into a JE 'plus-size'. Thaks

Can you re-bore a set of Biral Cylinders?

I usually keep 81mm 69S style pistons in stock.

They are 4032-T6 Alloy with coated skirts and Nippon Ring Packs.

67/68S pistons in 81mm are also available without too much trouble.

I found an excellent used set at Retro Automotive Products (802-384-0175) at a very reasonable price. No ridges nor groves. Ask for Matt.
