    After explaining to a couple guys why Ralph's car wasn't going to show well did I sign up as a bidder? No. That car was well bought, in today's market, IMHO. It seriously looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor.................if you took the custom parts off and put the stock back on.

    I think Ralph has the original deck lid and Targa top to the 911E. Chris

    He does. And they went with it, if I read the ad right. Presented the way it was you'd have to wonder what else was done to it, if you didn't know. Or it wasn't worth what I thought it was and it's a good thing I didn't register to bid it:-)

    "Ralph's Car"

    It sold at Mecum for 56k, which seems like an incredible buy, even with the custom bits on the car.

    It is now at Daniel Schmitt in St. Louis, and on eBay. BIN of $110k.

    VIN = 119210814

    In my opinion, it needed to be displayed without the "unique parts." But that's how it's being displayed now, so we'll see if that's the correct method. Car sure looks great in the presentation. Saw it in person a couple times in the past and wasn't knocked out.
