Thread: 1969 heads

    1969 heads

I came across a box of 1969 heads dated 9-68 + 10-68. They are for fuel injection. Without measuring the valve size are they 911E or S ?
    Part # 901-104-306-2R.

    Thanks in advance,

    WP

The main visual difference between E/S and carb (T) heads is the fuel injector port in the intake.

Other differences exist such as intake/exhaust port and valve sizes.

Thanks for the info but I didn't explain myself very well... I mean the difference between S heads 68 (carburetors) and 69S.
Ok, there's the injector port but apart from that, are the dimensions the same (valves and intake/exhaust portas)?

The '68S valve size would be; intake = 42 mm + exhaust = 38 mm
The '69S valve size would be; intake = 45 mm + exhaust = 39 mm

I'm not sure if the port size is the same ....................
