    WTB: 69S Engine

    Looking to purchase a 1969 911S engine. Prefer it running w/ the MFI but will consider other options. Let me know what you got.

    I have a "complete" 1969 911S with good Webers. I really was looking for a good 1967 911S engine and transmission to mate to the '67 911S Targa I'm restoring, and grabbed this '69 as a fall back position. If you or anyone elso is interested in a reasonable trade - my '69 for you '67 - I'm up for it. I have partially torn down the '69, and it looks good so far. I have not taken any measurements. The engine and a 902 5 speed tranny are located at my location in Prather, CA. I know, no MFI. But it is what it is. I owuld actually prefer to keep the better '69 for the car, but the purists would snear at me when I go to sell the thing.
