What years were these offered? I can't find them in the mid-1970s PET catalog so presumably they were an item introduced in the 80s or 90s?

I've not seen many of these, but the most original one I saw was in a 74 Euro Carrera and was in a round case. This case is obviously square and has a 901 part number.

    good question...

I purchased this in early 80s from Stoddard who repersented it as NOS. the additional shots are taken from my '69 parts manual, though there are no photos of the actual item. sorry the pix are a little out of focus. during what era did the factory use the maroon part number stickers ?
update; the part number also appears in my '73 catalog.

I've had one with my car since new (69).

They are in the 65-69 catalog. I'll see if I can find the receipt somewhere.

The non-halogen replaceable bulb, would seem to indicate that this would be appropriate for a SWB euro car, yes?

It says: Made in "Western" Germany; that has to be significant! When I see this maroon parts sticker, I think NOS,not Repop. Seems to be missing a few minor bulbs?
