    I've only seen them with oval headed stainless screws..... anyone else?

    Rivets with a black plastic/rubber fastener.

    The only thing that is 100% correct are rivets. (65-69 and 70-73)

    Yep, rivets on bumper end caps, screws on deco end caps. Decos have to come off to adjust torsion bars, hence the screws.
