    1059 in Esses

Rick's car is gorgeous! How do I find him/contact him about the exact color of the car. Or did I miss it in the article?

    Speaking of color, Shaun 69E...

How about posting a picture of your Velvet Green 69S Targa!!!

    That is very unusual

Hey Bryce, got your PM. The car is currently in old, black paint (and a lot of rust!) but here is what it looks like inside one of the headlight buckets. A lot of blue in the green. Has a linen interior too. I think Velvet Green was a 67 color, this car was definitely special ordered.

    Enjoy!

Very cool color. You've got a start for a paint matching process.

Now shelter that headlight bucket somewhere! You may have the only Velvet Green early 911 left on the planet

    Hey, Shaun . . .

    I was gonna PM ya --- then I saw your thread . . .

First off --- thank you for the compliment. I started a thread about my car a while ago so there's nothing really new in the article . . . I just tried to boil everything down The Story part. Then John Dilger picked the pictures, and, well . . . he always makes us look good

And I deliberately left-out some of the 'details' because I'm never sure how much people have patience for

Anyway, here's the paint tag on the car. Color is called 'metallic green,' code = 8383-H . . . w/ the 'H' = the paint supplier 'Herbert.' John Esposito painted the car to samples of the original finish

I love this color. Pretty-much why I 1st liked/then bought the car, to begin with

Also --- and I know people don't use this feature a lot, but . . . I have several albums up on my 'Profile' page. (There's a link to one of them in my 'signature,' at the bottom of every post) Numbers, 'glam' shots . . . I even have a picture of John in there! Look in there any time

Anyway, thanks, again, for the compliment

Thank you Rick. What a special car you have! I'll have to go through your albums some time. I was inquiring because some of the pictures in Esses gave a softer hue to your car and I thought it might be velvet green, or similar.

As to patience, speaking for myself, I have endless patience for all the details of these cars.

    Enjoy it, and thanks again.
