Too many shift knobs to choose from

Just finished a ground up restoration on my '70 911e and want to replace my original but worn and cracked shift knob. With so many repros in the market (e.g. Dansk, Sierra Madre, Stoddard, Porsche Classic, etc) I'm not sure which one to go for. Any help would be appreciated.

    Jay,
I would go Porsche Classic for the following reasons :
    - it is coming from Porsche (even if manufactured elsewhere)
    - it is supposed to be the closest/even correct one
    - it is of great quality.

I bought many things, but a shift knob, from Porsche Classic and was never disapointed.

That said, there are many also good people in here doing nice repro.
    My view.

Thanks Xavier. I haven't bought anything from them yet. Do they have a website/online store exclusively for classic porsche parts?

    Here you go Sir :
    http://www.porsche.com/france/access...s/neweditions/

Under the "Control Stalks and Pedals" you'll find your item.

THere was a very good thread comparing new repops and original ones about a year ago or so.

    Here you go:

Aren't the repops all the same?
