    Anybody Need a Good 'Shop Truck' . . .

    . . . what a beauty!

. . . This is an original un-restored one owner 1970 Dodge Sweptline Shortbed
-100% Rust free body chassis and frame
    -128k Original miles
-Original front and rear "Black and yellow" license plates, which verifies it's California heritage since new
    -No Dents
-Paint looks entirely original with the exception of the passenger door, which is a shade off (although their are no signs of it being re-painted)
-Bed is in excellent condition and has no dents
    -Gorgeous interior
    -Runs and drives extremely well
    -Transmission shifts on the mark
    -No issues
    -Perfect brakes, steering and suspension
    -Original owners manual
-We have a camper shell to go along with it, that was on the truck since new

. . . This truck looks stunning as-is, with a lovely original patina that no amount of money could duplicate. The new owner will be overjoyed with this amazing original California example!

. . . Please call with any questions...This vehicle is also available for sale locally and is subject to removal from the auction at anytime should it be sold. If you have any questions call Evan at 310-594-4224. Shipping can be arranged worldwide. Thanks for looking! . . .

Check-out the 'wear-through' on the paint on the top of the tail-gate

Perfect for all those nasty parts that I pick up at all those stupid car shows I go to . . .

Love it! I have a truck very similar a 66 F100 that was bought new by my grandfather. I have zero use for it but it is just nice to have around. Nothing more simple than working on an American truck pre-smog era... GLWS!

An entire vehicle, for the cost of a partial engine rebuild of an early 911...

Sometimes I wonder about the smiles per dollar factor on our cars.

Not that an old pickup is a direct comparison, but I imagine many people know what I mean

    . . . 'Just a Truck'

That's one of the things about posting some of these 'other culture' threads, here . . .

    . . . this is an audience that not only appreciates Old Stuff for itself . . . all the originally-painted, gently worn-away, slightly-dusty innocence of a something otherwise un-noticed/ignored/lost . . .

. . . but can also recognize how fragile + ephemeral something like this really is

I mean --- there I am One Day . . . just poking/surfing along, thinking about family or work or taxes . . . or any of the other dozen-or-so other distractions that can take-up my day . . . . and then there it is . . .

    . . . just a truck . . .

    . . . w/ a paint-job worn-through by a man's hand

I know exactly what you mean. That's why I have a fetish for micro cars...
    and old trucks.
