    Help w COA "Ornamental Painting in Black" What is this??

    Supposedly put on my 911S '72 Sunroof Car.
    Any help is appreciated

    Most likely a poor translation.

    My guess is also black trim.

    my guess black Porsche stripes on doors. (below SWB type)



    In 1974, there was also 911 hood ornament but not on 72's.

    Trim is def. chrome flavored. Also

    99% sure it's the black "911S" and "PORSCHE" deckled letters.

    I've owned a number of 72 cars and they all had black trim. (Usually faded out) I was under the impression that
    all 72's had black deck lid badges. No? If so it would not be listed as an option.

    My thoughts:
    1. Classic CoA translation error. Ornamental paint in German is Zier Farbe, so maybe someone can find what that might refer to in a period German language brochure.
    2. It is probably the side scripts Karim points out in #5 above.
