This car left the factory as a highly desirable and rare Signal Yellow 911S Coupe
California is famous for dry un-rusty cars. This is a nice example of that. Owned by a Police Officer since 1982 this car was put up on jack stands in an enclosed dry Central California garage in 1986 where it has slept for the last 32 years. Because of this the car is dry, not attacked by rust or UV light and is hence a very clean nice 911S.
The gaps are good and the pans and wheel wells and jack points are beautiful.

Car was photographed with trunk unlatched
The engine turns over. We have not tried to start the car though the owner claimed it was running when put in storage. The brakes need to be gone through prior to driving and are not road worthy.
    The Fuchs wheels are real
The battery boxes are solid and not rusted and in fact not even eaten through with corrosion
Seats appear to be original with the correct headrests
Since nice 911S cars are $200,000 and up this car is an excellent candidate for restoration. The difference between this car and most others is this example is very solid and dry and original other than the mirrors and radio making it a far less expensive restoration than most
    Original keys
Miles show 107,000 and could be original. No documentation to prove this
Solid floors, trunk, jack points, battery boxes, door jambs
The car appears to be generally unharmed and free of bad accidents

We welcome inspections. We will be available for your mechanic to come to our facility and inspect the car but please do so before end of auction not afterwards.

For buyers outside the US. We regularly ship cars abroad and can assist you with shipping.

A dry car (from Central Calif) in Signal Yellow is nice. This car is definitely worth pursuing and will look great when done. Reminds me a bit of the Golden Green '69S that Henk purchased. Too bad about the MFI. Maybe it's sitting in a box in that garage in Central Calif.
