What a cool guy. Just driving around town in some old cars.

Just watched that a few days ago ironically. Would love to see the collector that owns car 003 and 004.
Great man and great collector!
Wonderful story and great cars. I wonder what 004 looked like when he sold it.
The film also helped me with bringing back my Italian; I lived in Bologna Italy for 3 years in the 80s, ans still to talk my friends on a fairly regular basis. I understood around 95% without the subtitles.

Beautiful portrait, nice guy. He speaks beautiful italian. I feel sorry he had to sell No.004.
No.001 is now at the museum.
It was ordered and first sold 1949/50 to a Swiss lady in Zurich, who was therefore the very first customer for Porsche.
No.003
Porsche 356 No.003 1949 was seen in shows 2009 and 2012 in Switzerland, as discussed in the film, Gmünd Chassis No.3 was built into a on-off convertible by swiss custom builder Beutler. I think always privately owned and located in Swtzerland.
No.004
As hinted, its possible 356 No.004 is now also in Switzerland, I might know the broker who did the deal.
Screenshot from the film, state of car in about 1979.

Great find, Mark.
That guy seems like a true gentleman, enjoying the good life with openness and a bit of regret (selling on #004).
And his take on car collecting as a fad is priceless...
