    306611s

    VIN = 306611S
    Eng# = 960882
    Trans# = 103876?

    . . . This particular example is an extremely rare right hand drive model. This particular car was originally imported into the United Kingdom along with only twenty-nine other 911S models. The 1967 911S was already a rare sight but the RHD versions were almost nonexistent. Previously imported into the UK, this car is eligible to avoid VAT and import taxes . . .

    . . . This 911S is a very complete car that will require a full restoration. This is a numbers matching car and is very original… right down to the aluminum wheel lugs. Bahama yellow in color, this early model 911S has the desirable flat fenders and short wheelbase. Due to the rarity and completeness of this particular car, it is a perfect candidate for a full concours restoration . . .

    Little late to this one, Team . . . sorry . . .

    Anyone have any details to share about this?

    Another stupid-rare car . . . in barn-find condition

    That car sat hub deep in a spud field for close to 30yrs not far from where I live. Idaho/Wyoming border. I actually saw it on the road a few times in 1979 or '80. I drove by it for years. i tied to buy it several times but the owner would not cut it loose. The last time I looked, a few years ago I would not have bought it. RUST! The only thing it has going for it is that it is RHD and an S. Obviously the RHD means a lot to some, but that is one nasty car. It had a ducktail on it and fiberglass fenders BITD. I literally saw it waste away.

    Can be seen on the pic where the car is surrounded by stuff.
    Small detail but wasn't the ducktail actually like some aftermarket 2.4l style "additional engine cooling" device.
    I recall seeing it also on a red 1973 Targa which was shown/discussed w period PCA Monterey meeting pics, at this board.

    There are folks up to the task of bringing back a rusty RHD 67S.

    Only a couple dozen known survivors I believe. Need 210bhp to weigh in on this project.

    This is a 1 of 50 made sorta thing. Someone will want it

    That's quite a historical account there Steve! Is this like provenance?
