    Throttle body work, 69S

    Hello All,
    Well, got the engine back together, got the piston/ valve gapping issue addressed and dealing with the throttle bodies. I have new air intake pipes instaleed, but it looks like the back fire damage slightly warped or damaged the butterfly valves. It's just sucking air and losing some power at all times, something like 20%, by not closing properly. confirmed be blasting ether down the stacks. It's being explained to me, so I might be screwing up the description in my second hand translation. I apologize if I'm sounding like a creatin.
    Apparantly it is hard to get the 69 throttle bodies, only year of production with the 2.0 liter MFI. Apparantly the 2.2's will work, but are more narrow, and produce less power. It looks like it will be a 3 week turn to get these ones reworked.
    Anyone have any experience with the throttle bodies on these? Is is really that tough to get these valves, or does anyone have an inside track somewhere?
