Auction Description:

From its original purchase on May 22, 1972 until late in 2013, this very original “long nose” 911S was a one-owner car hailing from Austin, Texas. It is a very correct, very original, and unadulterated example with impeccable and very complete records from new. As thoroughly documented, this car was originally purchased by Bradley Martin from Bob Miller Porsche in Austin and it was lovingly maintained over the years by that same enthusiast-owner until it was purchased by a dealer/broker late in 2013. It is very rare that an early 911S Porsche remains in such original and unmolested condition. Originally supplied with sport seats, A/C and no sunroof, it has seen limited use over the last 15 years and this beauty retains the majority of its original Silver paint. While it has the usual minor scratches and dings of a mostly original paint car it still has a great shine and a truly beautiful patina that only a lovingly maintained car can display. Similarly, the black leather sport-seat interior remains in excellent original condition and only the carpet has been replaced. Mechanically, this is an all-numbers matching car and retains it originality throughout and offers the performance and dynamics that only a first-generation 911S can deliver.

The dash is in exceptional original condition, often an issue with the early 911’s. This truly iconic car comes with the correct and original, FUCHS wheels that also reflect the overall external patina you would expect of such an exceptional original car. The original numbers matching engine went through a very extensive rebuild within the last 16,000 miles and while being rebuilt was upgraded to 2.7 liter RS specs including a rare RS spec Bosch MFI pump. This long hood 911S is amazingly fast and dynamic to drive and comes with the Porsche COA, very through and complete records, books, manuals and tools. This is an extremely original car for the discriminating buyer. They are only original once, and this is a unique opportunity to own one of the most iconic sports cars ever produced.
