    Both seats have reclining triggers on the outside only.

    Yes, apparently all Idealsitz S seats are like that - on the RH side. (like the 68 Recaro's?)

    Don't know why.

    The '74-'80 "Tombstone" sport seats are similar. The seats in my '80SC sit better than ANY seat I've owned that came stock in a Porsche.

    These are far more cool looking with the separate headrest.
