Built for the 1973 model year, this F-series 911 E is finished in Tangerine over a rare brown leather interior. Well equipped from the factory, optional equipment included “S” instrumentation, electric sliding sunroof, KONI shock absorbers, front oil cooler, and front seat headrests. Extensively restored under current ownership between 2012 and 2013, mechanical and suspension work was performed by Sanders Imports of Seneca, South Carolina, while the body was stripped and repainted in its original hue by Rick Priami of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee. More recently, in September 2016, the original 2.4-liter engine was completely rebuilt by specialist Pat Williams Racing in Memphis.
Fitted with air-conditioning, including a modern rotary compressor, this wonderful 911 E presents in stunning condition and is supplied with its books, tools, keys, jack, spare tire, and restoration invoices. Rare, desirable, and commonly regarded as the best of the 2.4-liter models for road use, this 911 E stands as a top-level example coming from a fastidious home.
